Day 1: Yangon
Arrival to Yangon. Yangon is the most important commercial city in Myanmar. Stroll around India quarter visit morning vegetable market which is beside Theingyi marker where one can see Myanmar daily food, snack and sweet that you can not find at elegant restaurant. Drive to Nanthida port to take ferry boat which cross Yangon river that join between Yanogn and Dala, by taking ferry boat for 15 minutes one can realize about Myanmar transportation system and real life of urban people near by big Yangon city, stroll around Kandawgyi park and finally visit Shwedagon pagoda that is the most venerable pagoda in Myanmar. Overnight at Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon-Mandalay Amarapura, Innwa and Sagaing
Transfer to airport and fly to Mandalay. Upon arrival to Mandalay airport drive to Amarapura visit Mahagandayone monastery: school for 1200 Buddhist monk. The most interesting time to visit that monastery is at 10:15am when all monks enter to dinning room for their lunch. Then visit traditional hand woven silk workshop. Proceed to Innwa. Innwa is an artificial island: one of the ancient capitals of Myanmar, visit Bagaya monastery, Menu Ok kyaung and ruin of Innwa by horse cart. Then proceed to Sagaing: visit to Sagaing hill for beautiful place for panoramic view over Ayeyarwaddy river 400 monastries, Aung Myay Oo monastic education center. Drive back to Amarapura and visit U Bein bridge (during sunset time) which is the longest wooden bridge in the world. Then drive to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay.
Day 3: Mingun and Mandalay
Visit to Jade market and transfer to jetty and take the boat to Mingun. It takes one hour. Mingun is small village which is situated on the western bank of Ayeyarwady River. Visit Pathodawgyi pagoda, the world biggest bell and Monument of love . Then go back to Mandalay by boat. In the afternoon visit corner of 22nd street and Ayeyarwaddy River called view point in which one can see relay hard life of bamboo makers, gold leave production, Shwenandaw Monastery; ex-palace, Kuthodaw pagoda; the world biggest book and finally go up to the top of Mandalay Hill to admire the panoramic view over the city and Shan Mountain around Mandalay
Day 4: Mandalay – Bagan via Mt.Popa (by car)
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mt-Popa; an extinct volcano on the way observe the landscape of rural area. Excursion Mt-Popa which 777 steps, that bring you to the top of Popa taungkalet which is famous for Home of the Nats. Then proceed to Bagan and on the way stop the place where local farmers who produce sugar from Palm trees. Overnight at Bagan.
Day 5: Bagan
Morning breakfast at hotel and visit Bagan. Bagan is archeological zone of Myanmar as well as land of Pagodas. Morning visit Ngakwengadaung pagoda which has bulboo shape and the oldest pagoda of Bagan and around that place one can see evolution of Myanmar stupa, Pathothamya temple in which you can see amazing lighting system and beautiful painting, Nyaung U authentic market, Soya bean maker at Nyaung U village, fan maker family, Shwezigon pagoda in which white elephant stopped, Ananda temple which is known as the most beautiful temple in Bagan, Sulamani temple where you can see two layers of painting from two different epoca, Shwesandaw pagoda which is the best place to enjoy panorama during sunset time. Overnight at Bagan.
Day 6: Bagan – Heho – Inlay
Morning breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport and fly to Heho which is situated on Shan Platnue and drive to Inlay about one hour. On the way visit Shwe Yan Pyay monastery and Pagoda. Then proceed to Nyaung Shwe. Upon arrival take the boat ( 5 pax on each boat )and visit Phaung daw oo pagoda; is the most venerable temple on the lake with 5 buddha images, floating Intha’s villages. Overnight at Inlay lake.
Day 7: Inlay lake – Indein
Full day visit Inlay lake: visit colorful every five days market, floating villages, silk and lotus weaving, Indein which is the place in one square kilometer there are thousands of pagodas, visit to the village where padaung lady live. Overnight on the lake
Day 8: Inlay lake – Heho- Yangon –International departure
Morning breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Heho airport and fly to Yangon. Visit Bogyoke market, and transfer to the airport for international flight.
The departure flight should be in the evening.
