Mt.Popa, Pindaya, Inlay lake , Indein, Kaku,Dala
Day 1: Yangon
Arrival to Yangon. Yangon is the most important commercial city in Myanmar. Stroll around India quarter visit morning vegetable market which is beside Theingyi marker where one can see Myanmar daily food, snack and sweet that you can not find at elegant restaurant. Drive to Nanthida port to take ferry boat which cross Yangon river that join between Yanogn and Dala, by taking ferry boat for 15 minutes one can realize about Myanmar transportation system and real life of urban people near by big Yangon city, stroll around Kandawgyi park and finally visit Shwedagon pagoda that is the most venerable pagoda in Myanmar. Overnight at Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon-Mandalay Amarapura, Innwa and Sagaing
Transfer to airport and fly to Mandalay. Upon arrival to Mandalay airport drive to Amarapura visit Mahagandayone monastery: school for 1200 Buddhist monk. The most interesting time to visit that monastery is at 10:15am when all monks enter to dinning room for their lunch. Then visit traditional hand woven silk workshop. Proceed to Innwa. Innwa is an artificial island: one of the ancient capitals of Myanmar, visit Bagaya monastery, Menu Ok kyaung and ruin of Innwa by horse cart. Then proceed to Sagaing: visit to Sagaing hill for beautiful place for panoramic view over Ayeyarwaddy river 400 monastries, Aung Myay Oo monastic education center. Drive back to Amarapura and visit U Bein bridge (during sunset time) which is the longest wooden bridge in the world. Then drive to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay.
Day 3: Mingun and Mandalay
Visit to Jade market and transfer to jetty and take the boat to Mingun. It takes one hour. Mingun is small village which is situated on the western bank of Ayeyarwady River. Visit Pathodawgyi pagoda, the world biggest bell and Monument of love . Then go back to Mandalay by boat. In the afternoon visit corner of 22nd street and Ayeyarwaddy River called view point in which one can see relay hard life of bamboo makers, gold leave production, Shwenandaw Monastery; ex-palace, Kuthodaw pagoda; the world biggest book and finally go up to the top of Mandalay Hill to admire the panoramic view over the city and Shan Mountain around Mandalay
Day 4: Mandalay – Monywa by car
Morning breakfast at the hotel and drive to Monywa . On the way visit to the village in which villagers produce different kinds of local snack. Upon arrival check in at the hotel and then visit Powin cave which is the house for 400000 buddha images. Overnight at Monywa.
Day 5: Monywa – Bagan by car
Morning breakfast at the hotel and visit local Monywa market , Thanboday temple which is like boroburu in Indonisia, Bodhitataung pagoda which is very particular , is the special forest of Figu trees under which there are uncountable Buddha images.. Then proceed to visit 90m long reclainging Buddha and 135m high standing Buddha .And then drive to Bagan about 3 hours driving time. On the way stop to visit handicraft village. Overnight at Bagan
Day 6: Bagan
Morning breakfast at hotel and visit Bagan. Bagan is archeological zone of Myanmar as well as land of Pagodas. Morning visit Ngakwengadaung pagoda which has bulboo shape and the oldest pagoda of Bagan and around that place one can see evolution of Myanmar stupa, Pathothamya temple in which you can see amazing lighting system and beautiful painting, Nyaung U authentic market, Soya bean maker at Nyaung U village, fan maker family, Shwezigon pagoda in which white elephant stopped, Ananda temple which is known as the most beautiful temple in Bagan, Sulamani temple where you can see two layers of painting from two different epoca, Shwesandaw pagoda which is the best place to enjoy panorama during sunset time. Overnight at Bagan.
Day 7: Bagan – Salay – Mt.Popa
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Salay about 2 hours from Bagan on the way visit Chauk local market and enjoy nice landscape, the land of patrol well. Salay is lovely town which is situated on the bank of Ayeyarwady river. Visit Yoke Sone monastery; the most interesting place of Salay. Inside the monastery there is big collection of antique religious objects from 11th century to 13th century. Then drive to Mt.Popa about one and half hour. Visit Mt.Popa taungkalat(777 steps) to enjoy panoramic view. Mt.Popa is the home for nat worship. Then drive back to Bagan. On the way back one can visit how people make sugar from Palm tree. Overnight at Bagan
Day 8: Bagan – Heho – Pindaya – Inlay lake
Transfer to the airport and fly to Heho which is situated on Shan Platnue and drive to Pindaya, enjoy beautiful landscape on the Shan state. Pindaya which is situated 1300m above sea level and it has nice and pleasant weather and visit famous holy Pindaya cave which is the house for 8000 Buddha images.Then visit parasol workshop and drive to Nyaung shwe. On the way stop to visit Pao tribe village in which villagers produce exterior leaves to make Myanamr sigar. Overnight at Inlay Lake.
Day 9: Inlay lake – Indein
Full day visit Inlay lake: visit colorful every five days market, floating villages, silk and lotus weaving, Indein which is the place in one square kilometer there are thousands of pagodas, visit to the village where padaung lady live. Overnight on the lake
Day 10 : kaku
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Kaku which is located 65km from Nyaung Shwe and it takes about two and half hours.That area is inhabited by colorful Pao tribe with their distinctive traditional costume. On the way to Kaku, one can enjoy beautiful landscape and way of life of Pao tribe. In kaku there is a big collection of 2000 stupas in a small area of one square kilometer. Drive back to Nyaung Shwe and overnight on the lake/ Nyaung Shwe.
Day 11 : Inlay lake – Heho – Yangon
Morning breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport and fly to Yangon. Transfer to the hotel and check in. Visit Bogyoke market and short visit to Chauk Htat Gyi pagoda.. Overnight in Yangon.
